Simple Expense Privacy Policy

Simple Expense is a personal expense tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Simple Expense lets you enter expense amounts, categories, dates, notes, monthly budgets, custom categories, and recurring expenses. This information is stored locally on your Android device.

The app does not send this information to a developer server and does not create or require a user account.

2. Information We Collect

Simple Expense does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers, financial account credentials, or other personal information.

The app does not use advertising, analytics, crash reporting, cloud synchronization, or tracking services.

3. Excel Export and Sharing

You may choose to export the selected month's expense data as an Excel file. When you tap the share or export action, Android shows the system sharing interface and you choose whether to send the file to another app or service. This sharing is initiated and controlled by you. Simple Expense does not automatically upload or distribute the exported file.

4. Data Deletion

You can delete individual expense records and recurring expenses within the app. You can also remove the locally stored app data or uninstall the app through Android settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Simple Expense is not directed primarily to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Security

Because expense records are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for protecting access to your device. The app does not transmit expense records over the internet.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's data practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a new revision date.
